Lillian Lipsey

Lillian was a Golden Giver to the Jewish United Fund, having made a gift every year since 1935, when she and Maurice gave a donation of $25.
On July 23, 2004, JUF honored Lillian for her generosity and dedication on the occasion of her 100th birthday. Dr. Nasatir and Jeffrey Cohen presented her with flowers, a Lion of Judah pin, a copy of the letter recognizing her first gift to the JUF in 1935 and a JUF proclamation honoring her leadership role in supporting all the special campaigns that took place over the years, including Project Renewal, Operation Exodus, and the Israel Emergency Campaign.
Lillian Lipsey passed away on January 18, 2006 at the age of 101. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Farber, and preceded in death by her son, James H. Lipsey. Lillian also had seven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, living throughout the United States and Israel.
